Debbie
Brown is an international human resource
consultant and executive coach who has earned the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification. She specializes in human resource best practices, organizational development, career management, career transitions and outplacement, executive coaching, and management development and leadership. She is a Master Practitioner of the MBTI and conducts workshops on teamwork, communication
and leadership. Debbie has taught human resource planning and organizational behavior. She serves as a career consultant and expert witness to family law attorneys, and is listed as an expert witness with TASA, a technical advisory service for attorneys.

A
published writer and speaker, she is frequently interviewed
in the print and broadcast media for her expertise in
career and human resource issues. Debbie was interviewed
with a panel of coaches for the "Clark Howard: Finding
Your Dream Job!" TV Special on WSB TV in Atlanta. Other
TV credits include news clips produced by "Connect with
Kids" and broadcast on various TV stations nationally.
She was also featured on the WB's broadcast of "Atlanta
Insider" April 24, 2006, and shown several times since
then, and was the featured career coach in an article
in the Atlanta Journal Constitution on May 21, 2006.
Debbie
began her career as family therapist and later became
a financial advisor with Dean Witter. She earned a BA
from the University of Illinois, a Master of Social Work
Degree (Clinical) from the Jane Addams School of Social
Work at the University of Illinois in Chicago and an
MBA from Georgia Tech in organizational behavior and
human resource management.
Debbie
has been active in a variety of professional organizations
including the Society of Human Resource Management. The Worldwide Employee Benefits Network, the Georgia Career Development Association, the
International Coach Federation, the Georgia Psychological
Association, and The National Association of Social Workers. Community
activities include participation with Community Consulting
Teams, comprised of MBA alumni that produce strategic plans
for non-profit organizations.
